Stóri Hrútur

Stóri Hrútur is a viewpoint located at Fagradalsfjall, an active tuya volcano formed in the Last Glacial Period on the Reykjanes Peninsula. The 2021 eruption was effusive and continued emitting fresh lava sporadically until 18 September 2021.

Kirkjufell

Kirkjufell is a 463 m high hill on the north coast of Iceland’s Snæfellsnes peninsula, near the town of Grundarfjörður. It is claimed to be the most photographed mountain in the country. Kirkjufell was one of the filming locations for Game of Thronesseason 6 and 7, featuring as the “arrowhead mountain” that the Hound and the company north of the Wall see when capturing a wight.

Búðardalur

Búðardalur is a village situated on the Hvammsfjörður in the north-west of Iceland. The village has about 270 inhabitants.

Dynjandi

Dynjandi, also known as Fjallfoss, is a waterfall located in the Westfjords region of Iceland. It is the largest waterfall in the Westfjords and has a total height of 100 metres. Below it are five other waterfalls: Háifoss, Úðafoss, Göngufoss, Hundafoss and Bæjarfoss.
